David Knight is a designer and author currently undertaking research at the Royal College of Art. His critical projects about the contemporary built environment have been exhibited and published internationally. He is a studio tutor and dissertation supervisor at Kingston University, and was formerly (2005-11) a senior lecturer at the University of East London. He has been a guest tutor and critic at various institutions including the Architectural Association, the École Spéciale d’Architecture (Paris), and TU Delft. He has also worked as a librarian, a cycle courier, and as urban designer / project co-ordinator at General Public Agency, London, where his clients included Arts Council England and the Tate. He is a member of the Architectural Humanities Research Association. He co-runs the blog aandd.
Cristina Monteiro trained as an architect and currently works with muf architecture/art. She studied at London Metropolitan University (where she won the School Prize for Social Entrepreneurship 2008) and the University of East London. Prior to joining muf, Cristina worked for Adams & Sutherland in London and the Lunuganga Trust in Colombo. She has taught at Kingston University and has been a guest critic and tutor at the University of East London, London Metropolitan University, Syracuse University and the École Spéciale d’Architecture (Paris). She sits on the London Borough of Tower Hamlets Conservation & Design Panel and gained her Part III from the Architectural Association in 2011.
